By creating an account or using By the Whey, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Using the service
You must use the service lawfully, provide accurate account information, and protect access to your account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant By the Whey a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate, improve, and moderate the service. This license ends when the content is deleted, except where copies must be retained for legal, security, or backup purposes.
Prohibited conduct
You may not harass others, impersonate people or businesses, distribute spam, upload illegal or infringing content, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape the service at scale, or use the service to facilitate unlawful transactions.
Community moderation
We may review, restrict, remove, or decline to publish content and may warn, suspend, or remove accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, follow the Community Guidelines, protect users, or comply with law.
Cheese information
Catalog details, pairings, and community ratings are provided for discovery and reference. Information may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be treated as medical, allergy, food-safety, or professional advice.
Service availability
Features may change, particularly during beta testing. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the service. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law.
Account termination
You may delete your account in the app. We may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated violations. Provisions that reasonably need to survive termination—including ownership, licenses already relied upon, disclaimers, and limitations—will survive.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service develops. Continued use after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
