The name “Cyclamen” is a reference to a type of Millesime that is particularly prized for its quality and long aging. Millésime is a French term translating to "vintage" or a "great vintage," typically referring to the specific year a wine or Champagne was produced. Marcel Petit ages all of the comtes in the side of a Mountain in the Jura range. The aging cellars are what was once Fort St Antoine, a military fortress. It keeps the temperature lower and the humidity up allowing the older age profiles to have a softness about them still while developing a robust flavor profile
