From Meadow Creek Dairy, Appalachian is in a cheese in the style of Tomme de Savoie. Meadow Creek is a farm and dairy focused on great genetics, they’ve been refining their herd since 1988. They also only graze on grass and don’t pasteurize any of their milk. Cheese is only made from mid-March through November. Meadow Creek is owned by the Feete Family; it is in the mountains of southwest Virginia. At an elevation of 2,800 feet, the clean water, clean air, and deep soils produce an ideal environment for growing diverse, rich pastures.
